Dear fellow space champions:
Thank you for your support of NASA and human spaceflight. We’ve been working with a team of regional leaders on some tools to help voice your support for NASA and share your concerns about the FY26 President’s Budget Request (PBR) with Members of Congress, the administration, and your friends and neighbors.
Below you’ll find a number of tools and links that can help. Please use these as a starting point, but feel free to modify, edit, and share as you see fit. Our strength comes from action, and now is the time to take action:
We’ve compiled a spreadsheet of Chiefs of Staff, Legislative Directors, and Space LA’s for every member on House and Senate Appropriations and Authorizing Committees as well as the entire Texas delegation. That list is attached. Please send something to everyone on the list, but make sure to use BCC if sending a bulk email.
We’re working with a tool called Action Button to have the “easy version” of sending letters. It only sends to your members of Congress based on home address. You can edit the language before sending but it is live, so only click send if you’re ready to send it: https://actionbutton.nationbuilder.com/share/SPK-QEVBSUA=
There are two versions of letters linked below – a simple version and a more detailed version. Please feel free to use either (or make your own).
The letter can also be the basis for talking points if people would like to make calls.
